\"\"Founder and President of AB&A, Mr. Arosemena is one of the most well-known Intellectual Property attorneys in the country, having led the development of the IP field in Guayaquil (the biggest city of Ecuador and its \"economic capital\") through more than fifteen years of specialized practice. He has both an \u201cAttorney at Law\u201d and a \u201cSpecialist in Intellectual Property Law\u201d degrees from the Catholic University of Guayaquil, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Georgetown University.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Arosemena also obtain a \"Specialist in Intellectual and Industrial Property\" degree from the Catholic University of Guayaquil (UCSG), with the thesis \"The Trademark Nullity Procedure under Andean Community Law\".<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Arosemena worked as an \"International Legal Specialist\" in the New York office of Winston & Strawn, LLP, participating in international cases dealing with legal issues resulting from the interaction of the Common Law and Civil Law systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Former Regional Director in Guayaquil and National Director in Quito of the Ecuadorian Intellectual Property Institute (IEPI). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Law School Director of the International University of Ecuador (UIDE) in Guayaquil.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mediator of the Business Mediation Center (CME) and Arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center (UEES).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He also was the first Ecuadorian to be invited to the \"Colloquim of Intellectual Property Teachers\" in Geneva, Switzerland, organized annually by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He was the first attorney in Guayaquil to be included among the leader practitioners of Intellectual Property in the rankings World Trademark Review (WTR) and Chambers and Partners.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He is the author of the book \u201cRight of Author for Authors and Executives\u201d (IEPI, 2011).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Arosemena professional legal practice includes trademark, copyrights and patents, as well as franchises, valuation, unfair competition and publicity rights.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
